Hi, I'm Kelley

I started gaming on computers back when phones were attached to walls and a floppy disk held a whole game. Somewhere between then and now I raised humans, paid a mortgage, and never once stopped playing.

I'm a PC gamer (and all-round nerd) in my 50s, keyboard and mouse all the way, and I'm not here to pretend I'm 22. My reflexes are fine, thank you, but my reading glasses live on my head and my back has a vote on which chair I buy.

My happy place: lights down, RGB glowing, a dragon (or a giant transforming robot) on the screen or on the page, and a plant or six keeping me company.

Here's what you'll find: honest game reviews, the gear that actually works for grown-up bodies, the romantasy and fantasy books I can't stop recommending, cocktails, food I cook, flowers, and the cozy home stuff that makes it all feel like mine.

My rules are simple. I tell you what I loved, what bugged me, and whether you should play it, read it, or skip it. Sometimes I'll add a few you-might-also-like picks, because the best part of finishing something great is finding the next thing.

Pull up a chair. Bring a snack. Player 2 is always welcome.
